12月27日加拿大Alberta大学从事不同专业的6位教授将一同来到复旦大学,与复旦大学的学生面对面交流。欢迎有兴趣的同学前去参加。
 
大学简介:
Ranked in the top 100 universities worldwide, the University of Alberta is one of Canada’s leading research institutions, with more than $500 million in annual external research funding. The U of A was founded in 1908 and is now home to over 37,000 students, with more than 4,000 international students. State-of-the-art research facilities include the National Institute for Nanotechnology, the Agri-Food Discovery Place, the Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science, and the Li Ka Shing Institute of Virology. 
 
The U of A has extensive ties with top institutions in China, including a Joint Research Laboratories program with the Ministry of Science and Technology. In August 2010, the University of Alberta co-hosted with the China Scholarship Council the Canada-China Academic Forum: Quality and Relevance in Graduate Studies. The U of A receives more China Scholarship Council students than any other university in Canada. Student groups include the Chinese Students and Scholars Association and the Chinese Scholarship Recipients Association.
 
The University of Alberta also offers a 3-week summer or winter program for senior undergraduate Chinese students to attend lectures by top U of A professors, practice English language, and experience Canadian culture.

The University of Alberta International Summer Program- Energy and the Environment    July 11 – 30, 2011
 
Our International Summer Program provides a unique opportunity for students to meet University of Alberta experts in the fields of energy and environmental studies on a vibrant campus located in one of the world’s leading energy markets. Three weeks in one of Canada’s most energetic summer cities may inspire future study and career options!
 
Highlights
 . Energy and the Environment Academic Lecture Series: speakers will share innovations in the field
 . Canada “Eh” (A) to “Zed” (Z) Language and Cultural Seminar Series: designed to provide a deeper understanding of life in Canada through language
 . Research lab tours, field trips and winter activities
 . Three day trip to Alberta’s Oil Sands in Northern Alberta
 . Optional three day trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains (for an additional fee)
 
The program is open to cohorts of students or individuals currently registered in a degree program.
 
The program fee of $2700 CDN includes:
