提出你的设想，赢取$25000全额奖学金于今年暑假赴美Singularity大学参加为期十周的课程。详细参赛规则请见www.singularityu.org/competitions/china/

注：1）此项目今年首次在国内进行，全国共只有一个名额。仅北大和复旦两校学生受邀参加。学生年级和专业均无限制。

2）关于Singularity Univerisyt（奇点大学）：这不是一个传统意义上的全日制大学，而是一个提供part-time培训的学校，设在加州硅谷心脏地带，美国宇航局埃姆斯研究中心内，是为迎接电脑优于人脑的时代来临，谷歌（Google）与美国宇航局（NASA）展开合作，是致力开办一所培养未来科学家的学校，主要培养学生的创造力和用科技解决人类面临的各种问题的能力。百度百科关于该校的介绍：http://baike.baidu.com/view/2178218.htm

3）暑期项目时间为6月16日至8月26日，请感兴趣的学生留意，合理安排自己的时间。

4）参赛截止日期为4月1日，请抓紧时间自主申请。

The challenge:

What new product or service can you create, leveraging technology, that can improve the lives of 10 million Chinese citizens within 5 years?

The prize:

The competition winner will receive a full scholarship of $25,000 to attend Singularity University’s 10-week Graduate Studies Program from June 16 – August 26, 2012 at NASA Research Park in California in the heart of Silicon Valley.

For prizes for the finalists who do not win the competition, they can receive one standard package of Autodesk design software for free.

The process:

February 27 – April 1, 2012: Competition is open and applications that are received during this time will be entered for review and judging.
April 9, 2012: The finalists will be notified by this time for final reviews and interviews.
April 16, 2012: The competition winner should be notified by this time.
